When a Blind or Visually Impaired person is introduced to competitive golf, barriers disappear.
Our Members journeys fuel our mission.
Our Jr Golf clinics and lessons leave a lasting imprint.
Membership provides Blind & Visually Impaired golfers to complete with others in the same sight categories.
Since 1953 the USBGA has served the Blind & Visually Impaired community
we strive to grow the sport by offering clinics to blind and visually impaired people and teach them the sport of blind golf.
The United States Blind Golf Association is an organization for individuals with visual impairments to learn, compete and challenge the game of golf. Through youth and adult clinics and Championship tournaments, we bring skills, values and opportunities that make a lifelong difference.
Turn up your speakers and watch a great video of one of our clinics played to the wonder music of Ronnie Milsap!
The USBGA Junior Golf Program is about inclusion. It will help
the students be active, increase their social skills, and in reality, be similar to the world of the emotions they will experience in their lives. They will feel challenged, feel success, and feel failure. Like most golfers they’ll feel frustrated, angry, and happy. Our hope is that many of our junior golfers will be impacted enough to break down barriers that they may encounter because of their disability; to obtain their goals and accomplish their dreams.

7/18/22 – On July 18th Harry and Margaret Hester along with Harry’s coach, Rob Burneson, conducted a golf clinic at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired during their Outdoor Recreation Day. A total of 25 young adults attended and had the opportunity to practice putting and chipping. Other stations for student exploration included Beep Baseball, Beep Soccer, Tandem Biking, Hiking, and Rowing. Students were able to rotate through the different stations in groups and had a wonderful experience. There was quite a bit of interest in the USBGA from several students and staff members.
